The first (or last) of three Koala hostels, this is a well equipped hostel with large rooms, some with ensuite. There are also presses if you want to store some non-perishable food which is adviseable as the kitchen is very cramped. The towns main backpacker bar is here so expect late and noisy evenings. A hostel which is a National Trust and Heritage Listed guesthouse. Situated right beside Hastings Street, it is part of the YHA group of hostels, facilities include BBQ, bicycles, restaurant and a food store which is handy, and it's right beside the bus station. A bed in a 3/4/6 bed dorm costs $21
