Things to do:

Skydive:
Noosa is the cheapest place in Australia to do a skydive. You can freefall from 12,000 feet for $209 with free pick up from your hostel. Plus there is the beautiful view of the Sunshine Coast when you are up there. Contact Sunshine Coast Skydivers (07 5492 6958 or 0409 497 165 - mobile)

Surf:
A trip to Noosa wouldn't be complete without having a go at surfing as it is one of Queensland's most famous spots to ride the waves. You can learn to surf with former World Champions for $30. That will give you a two-hour lesson which, they guarnatee, will have you standing by the end of it.

Watersports:
All the usual watersports can be found at Noosa Main Beach. Jet ski-ing, banana boating and speedboating are all on offer. Prices for a two-hour session of all three costs around $35.

Noosa National Park:
Noosa National Park has an array of beautiful walks and lookouts. Trek through the park to see koalas in the wild, as well as some goannas if you are lucky. Then follow the coastal track to different lookouts such as Dolphins Pt. where the chances of seeing some are very good. And if Noosa main beach is becoming a bit too much for you, and you are feeling a bit wild, head down to Granite or Alexandra Bays where nude sunbathing is very common.

Camel Safari:
If you want to be a bit different from the rest, and you are sick of walks, falling out of planes and kayaking, why not jump on a camel's back for a few hours. Camel Safaris run on the North Shore. A two hour trek costs $55. Contact Camel Company Australia (07 5442 4402)
