Things to do:

Theme Parks:
Love them or hate them, theme parks are not too hard to find in Surfers Paradise. Whether you want to go shoot down massive water slides, or twist and turn on rollercoasters, you will find what you are looking for. The main parks to go to are Wet n Wild (07 5573 2255) - a water park full with slides and pools. One-day passes here cost $31. Seaworld (07 5588 2205) has loads of sealife with extras like polar bears. A one day pass here will cost $52. And finally Warner Brothers Movie World (07 55738485) which is full of rollercoasters and shows. A one day pass will set you back $52. If you really feel like going on a theme park bender it is possible to buy a 3 Park Super Pass for $135 which will give you a day's entrance to all the mentioned theme parks.

Walks:
There is more to offer in Surfers Paradise than nightclubs and themeparks. Various day trips to the surrounding Hinterlands can be done, taking you on long hikes and to waterfalls. During summer months it is nice to go swimming. Another place with many walks is Lamington National Park. Day trips run regularly from Surfers. Check with your local hostel for tour details.
